Andrea Morris is a nature photographer with a love for the flora, fauna, and fungi
of the Pacific Northwest. Her artistic practice includes weekly hikes to capture the
small moments that occur in nature all around us. Through the use of a macro or
telephoto lens, she specializes in finding the deep color contrasts, bold colors,
and sharp textures that occur along the trails. Throughout her work, you will find
overarching themes of comfort, mindfulness, and respite.

Andrea is currently a member of Artistic Portland Gallery. In 2023, she was a
finalist for the Oregon Wild Photography contest as well as a grant recipient from
the Regional Arts and Cultural Council for her collection focusing on a macro
photography perspective to organisms in Portland Parks. She has been featured
in the Nines Hotel, Blind Insect, KBM Art Gallery, Oregon Society of Artists
photography showcase, and more.
